Reading program designed to take your child to the next reading level. Each onboarding student will receive onsite reading base assessments and tutoring assistance. Student will meet with our PLF team twice weekly for 6 months with virtual or in-office guided hourly sessions.

Students have the opportunity to receive hands-on gardening training and instructions from local agricultural experts and PLF staff. This class is a great life skills course that provides youth insight on nutrition and health and wellness. PLF's Garden Camp encourages teamwork and teaches our students the value of exploration and patience.

Biz Kids is a unique hands-on financial literacy program that prepares young students for the world of business. PLF goes the extra mile, teaching young business professionals how money works while nurturing young minds to become critical thinkers. Using real-life scenarios and simulations, our students become complex problem-solvers, learning the importance of financial freedom through entrepreneurship, smart money management, and internship opportunities. 

PLF understands the uncertainties that teenagers may experience when transitioning between high school and college. PLF coordinates college tours and provides Waco youth exposure to educational opportunities at the collegiate level.
